This time, Microsoft isn’t adding any blockbuster titles to its subscription service, but the lineup still offers plenty to check out.
The early access beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 begins October 2 (for pre-order customers and eligible Game Pass subscribers—likely requiring Game Pass Ultimate) and runs through October 8. RoadCraft is already available (Xbox Series, cloud; Game Pass Ultimate and Standard members). Coming today are Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (Xbox Series, Xbox One; now also for Game Pass Standard members), For the King II (console; now available for Standard members), Overthrown (Xbox Series; Game Preview, still in development; now for Standard members as well), and Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor (Xbox Series, PC, cloud; Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members).
On September 18, Frostpunk 2 (Xbox Series, cloud; currently available on PC; Game Pass Ultimate members) and Wobbly Life (Xbox Series, PC, cloud; Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Standard members) arrive. September 19 brings Hades (console, PC, cloud; Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Standard members; returning title). On September 22, Endless Legend II (PC; Game Preview; PC Game Pass and Ultimate members; new release) joins, followed by Sworn (Xbox Series, PC, cloud; Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members) on September 23.
September 25 adds Peppa Pig: World Adventures (Xbox Series, PC, cloud; Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Standard members) and Visions of Mana (Xbox Series, PC, cloud; Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Standard members). September 30 sees the arrival of Lara Croft and the Guardian of the Light (console, PC, cloud; Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Standard members), and on October 7, Sopa: Tale of the Stolen Potato (console, PC, cloud; Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members; new release).
Starting October 1, Xbox Game Pass Core will expand with three titles: Cities: Skylines – Remastered, Disney Dreamlight Valley, and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. Beginning September 19, PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can enjoy a 10-hour trial of EA Sports FC 26. On September 24, Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members will receive the Rogueteers Re-Supply Pack in Terminull Brigade (PC). Another Game Pass Ultimate perk is the Jager Covert Set in Rainbow Six Siege. Games leaving on September 30 include Ninja Gaiden Sigma (console, PC, cloud), Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 (console, PC, cloud), Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor’s Edge (console, PC, cloud), and Terra Invicta (Game Preview) (PC).
No major headliners this round, but perhaps that’s not always necessary.
