Team Reptile has announced an extreme game based on tricks and graffiti that seriously reminds us of Jet Set Radio with each passing frame.
Hyperfunk is set to take funk style to a whole new level. Battle rival crews, hang out online, explore the city, pull off insane tricks, and race through the streets. Hyperfunk is an extreme trick-and-graffiti game set in a vibrant future. Society is shaped by the Hyper, an online dimension where graffiti crews compete in the real world with their unique styles and ideologies. Use your skateboard, skates, or BMX to perform tricks that charge your personal boost pack. The higher your combo score, the faster you accelerate, hitting absurd speeds.
In Dynamic Style Wars, crews can seize control of territories and challenge others. Engage in graffiti battles where you compete in real time to see who can bomb the streets most effectively, evade the police, and claim new turf. Make strategic use of the four graffiti types (Tag < Throwie < Piece < Blockbuster) to dominate your rivals. Roam the city freely to grow your crew, discover new tracks, and unlock additional moves. Encounter random players online in Hyper mode, or just chill with friends in Street mode.
