Grimlore Games‘ early access game received an update earlier than planned!
The first major content update for Titan Quest II is The Northern Beaches, the second chapter of your journey to face Nemesis. Legends hunger for lost adventures in The Northern Beaches, where mortals dare not tread. This vast new area is full of Fated and World Quests, nine dungeons, and hidden treasure. Follow the prophecy of the Fates, stand with Glaukos on his path to redemption, and trace Nemesis’s steps through these haunted coasts. Throughout this chapter, three thrilling major boss encounters will challenge you. Perfect your builds, hone your skills, and equip the strongest gear you can find to take down these dangerous enemies.
This update unlocks the fourth tier of each mastery. Experiment with seven new Actives and fourteen Passives. Engulf your opponents in a volcanic eruption, weather their attacks in stone form, or risk it all with valor and a sword of Damocles hanging above your head. Discover eleven unique items with powerful effects. Additionally, the developers have continued reworking itemization. The first step is making Affix Tiers available for almost all affixes. This means that when you find a new upgrade, it won’t just be a small increase of a few percent; it’ll be a much more noticeable improvement. This should make the item chase more rewarding than in previous patches. Keep your eyes peeled for future updates to itemization—the developers are not done yet!
The Ichthians have bolstered their ranks with new horrors, including Ketos Spawn and shark-like bruisers, as well as their devastating new commanders. You will also encounter Living Statues, Hippkampos Foals, and other strange beasts roaming the land. This chapter concludes your fight against the Ichthian threat. Future updates will take you to brand-new biomes and introduce an entirely new faction. Please remember that while they were able to deliver this update earlier than outlined on their roadmap, this won’t always be possible.
Titan Quest II has been expanded, but it is still far from being released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC.
