TECH NEWS – As the Centre Pompidou prepares for a renovation of unprecedented scale, it has announced a landmark collaboration with the Samsung Art Store. Twenty-five masterpieces could soon enter homes worldwide. From November 2025, a carefully curated series spanning more than a century of artistic innovation—from Brancusi to Pollock—will arrive on Samsung Art TVs.
The selection features standout works such as Frida Kahlo’s The Frame (1938), Wassily Kandinsky’s Yellow–Red–Blue (1925), Piet Mondrian’s New York City (1942), and Henri Matisse’s Sorrow of the King (1952). The list is further enriched by pieces from Marc Chagall, Joan Miró, Yves Klein, and Peter Doig, presenting over 100 years of art history and reflecting the Pompidou’s role in modern art.
“Since its inception, the Centre Pompidou has been a meeting point for art and innovation. Thanks to this collaboration, our collection will remain visible, shareable, and enjoyable even while our galleries are being transformed,” said Gaële de Medeiros, Head of International & Economic Development at the Centre Pompidou.
Samsung aims to make world-class artworks accessible beyond museum walls. With the company’s technology, users can turn their screens into digital canvases and curate their own collections at home.
“The power of art doesn’t fade when some doors close — it always finds new paths. Through The Frame, these works can transcend geography and inspire people to make modern art part of everyday life,” said Daria Greene, Samsung’s Head of Content & Curation.
Alongside long-standing partners — including The Met, Tate, MoMA, and the Musée d’Orsay — the Pompidou’s collection is now joining the Samsung Art Store, bringing art even closer to everyday life.
Exclusive artworks on Samsung TVs
The Samsung Art Store is available on the company’s 2025 Art TVs, including The Frame and The Frame Pro, offering easier access to leading artists, museums, and galleries worldwide.
The flagship The Frame Pro features an advanced Neo QLED panel for richer colors, sharper contrast, and deeper blacks. The wireless One Connect Box enables clean installs — hiding cables up to 9 meters away — while the matte, anti-reflective display helps artworks appear lifelike. Frames and sizes are flexible, allowing the TV to serve as a decorative element in any interior.
In 2025, Samsung expanded Art Store availability to select Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4,K and QLED series, giving users more ways to enjoy art at home.
