The collection, backed by Strictly Limited Games, will include three games in one package. However, it will not be available everywhere.
Ziggurat Interactive and Strictly Limited Games announced that the BloodRayne: Definitive Collection is coming to the PlayStation 5 and the Nintendo Switch. The collection will include three games: BloodRayne: Revamped, BloodRayne 2: Revamped, and BloodRayne Betrayal: Fresh Bites. The collection will be available digitally on the PlayStation Store and Nintendo eShop. There will also be a physical release, including a limited edition. The pre-order start date is unknown. The collection will be available digitally when physical copies begin shipping.
The collection features all three games from the iconic action-horror series that first made waves in the early 2000s. Starring the redheaded dhampir (half-human, half-vampire) Rayne (voiced by Laura Bailey), the series takes the protagonist on blood-soaked adventures. She confronts the Third Reich in BloodRayne, goes on a rampage against her siblings in BloodRayne 2, and hacks, slashes, and feeds her way through an underground castle in BloodRayne Betrayal: Fresh Bites, in which Bailey and Troy Baker reprise their roles. Fresh Bites.
Exclusive physical limited editions of the BloodRayne: Definitive Collection will be available for collectors on the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. This marks the first time the entire enhanced collection will be available in one physical release. The ReVamped versions of the first two games feature enhanced graphics, cinematics, and atmospheric effects in high definition.
Interestingly, the Xbox Series has been left out. Perhaps it’s because sales of the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S are so low that releasing it on these platforms isn’t worth it (especially since the console and Xbox Game Pass have seen significant price increases this year). The omission of the Nintendo Switch 2 is understandable; Nintendo is likely being stingy with developer kits to prevent the release of subpar games.
The release date for BloodRayne: Definitive Collection is unknown for both the PlayStation 5 and the Nintendo Switch.
