Call of Duty: Black Ops 7: Microsoft Remains Tight-Lipped About Handheld PC Performance! [VIDEO]

With the release date just a week away, the system requirements for this year’s Call of Duty have been announced.

 

Without further ado, here’s the list.

Minimum system requirements:

  • Operating system: Windows 10 x64 (latest version)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-6600 / AMD Ryzen 5 1400
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 / 1060 / AMD Radeon RX 470 / Intel Arc A580
  • VRAM: 3 GB
  • DirectX: DX12
  • Free storage: 116 GB on SSD at launch
  • Internet connection

Recommended system requirements:

  • Operating system: Windows 11 (latest version)
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-6700K / AMD Ryzen 5 1600X
  • Memory: 12 GB RAM
  • Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 / AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT / Intel Arc AB80
  • VRAM: 8 GB
  • DirectX: DX12
  • Free storage: 116 GB on SSD at release date
  • Internet connection

Competitive / 4K ultra requirements:

  • Operating system: Windows 11 (latest version)
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-10700K / AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 / 5070 / AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT
  • VRAM: 16 GB
  • DirectX: DX12
  • Free storage: 116 GB on SSD at launch
  • Internet connection

Notes:

  • TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot are required to run the game; additional security measures may apply.
  • Only Intel and AMD CPUs with AVX support are compatible.
  • Free storage does not include Call of Duty: Warzone.
  • Recommended GPU drivers: Nvidia 581.42; AMD 25.9.2; Intel 32.0.101.8132.
  • Handheld PCs: stated to run on “most Windows-based devices” with optimized graphics/performance and sharper text on small screens; the table also mentions smart performance and battery optimization. Activision only cites optimization for the ROG Ally Xbox – might other devices see choppiness?

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 launches on November 14 (November 11 for the Vault Edition) on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and will be available day one for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members.
