Dying Light: The Beast: If It Hasn’t Been Too Difficult So Far, Here’s the Solution!

With the 1.5 update, Techland has significantly increased the difficulty for players seeking an even more intense experience of Kyle Crane’s story.

The developer has released a new update for Dying Light: The Beast, version 1.5. This update includes a new difficulty level called Nightmare Experience, new survival mechanics, and a new Alpha Volatile. This update comes shortly after version 1.4, which Techland called the biggest update to the game yet. It also complements Techland’s latest roadmap for Dying Light. Update 1.4 added features such as New Game+, ray tracing support on PC, and over 400 graphics updates and bug fixes. Update 1.5 allows players to enjoy all of these features with new gameplay elements. The new survival mechanics require players to pay attention to their food consumption and hunger levels.

The longer players go without eating, the longer it takes for their stamina and health to recover. Our flashlights will also run out of power over time. As the battery drains, the light will dim and flicker, forcing us to search for spare batteries in the city or make our own. The new Alpha Volatiles are the most powerful infected in Castor Woods because of their strength and intelligence. Unlike other Volatiles, they are not bothered by UV light. They can also chase us across the entire map until we reach the safe zone, even if we run fast enough and hide. The Nightmare Experience difficulty level is the highest challenge in Dying Light: The Beast, which Techland recommends only for the most experienced Dying Light players.

This makes human and infected enemies stronger, smarter, and more aggressive. Thanks to their heightened senses, they also react faster to the player’s actions. On Nightmare Experience difficulty, Volatiles appear in certain Dark Zones, even during the day. As expected, resources are much scarcer on Nightmare difficulty than on other levels, making it harder to survive.
