A Ton of Games and Their Achievements Have Been Leaked on Exophase!

There are definitely some surprises here, and while it doesn’t seem to be on the same scale as what Nvidia GeForce Now revealed a few years ago, it’s still pretty wild!

Achievements planned for Steam from major titles like Kingdom Hearts IV and Persona 6 have been leaked. Exophase owner x3sphere wrote on the ResetEra forum that this might be a blunder on Valve’s part, because many games with achievements—which shouldn’t be public—became public via the API (application programming interface), which is why Exophase was able to add them to its database.

The list of games speaks for itself: 4:Loop, Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve, Akiba Lost, Attack on Titan 3, Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival, Clutch, Control Resonant, Crymelight, Deus Ex Remastered, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, Dynasty Warriors 3 Complete Edition Remastered, Eden.schemata();, Fable, Final Fantasy Resonance, Gears of War: E-Day, Grave Seasons, Gundam Rogue Orbit, Guns of Eschaton, Horizon Hunters Gathering, Judas, Kena: Scars of Kosmora, Kidbash: Super Legend, Kingdom Hearts IV (including unannounced worlds!), Magicians: The Devil’s Deal, Mega Man: Dual Override (including unannounced Robot Masters!), Metal Max 2: Reloaded, Metro 2039, Minecraft Dungeons II, Panzer Dragoon II: Zwei Remake, Persona 4 Revival, Persona 6 (with unannounced story information!), Planet Zoo 2, Professor Layton and the New World of Steam, Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, PUBG: Ded.net, Raiden Fighters Remix Collection, Rayman Legends: Retold, Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy, Silent Hill: Townfall, SiN: Reloaded, Star Wars: Galactic Racer, Stranger Than Heaven, Stuntman: Hollywood, TankRat, Terranigma, Thief: The Dark Project Remastered, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter, Trine 6: Together in Time, an unannounced Nickelodeon game, an unannounced Rurouni Kenshin game, an unannounced Telltale Games The Walking Dead Collection, an unannounced Tetris game, Undefeated: Genesis, and Witchbrook.

This is certainly a major embarrassment for Valve! Exophase isn’t to blame for this—if the database updates are automated, how could the site owner have known what was happening on Steam…?

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
