We won’t be lacking a WRC game this year either, because after Milestone losing the World Rally Championship license (they ended up working on Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo, which got delayed back to 2016), Kylotonn Games picked up the developer role – their game will be published by BigBen Entertainment.
The video doesn’t say much this time around, because it’s more like a Michael Bay-directed trailer, which solely focuses on Citroën’s DS3 WRC – although the trailer was cut from gameplay replays. There will be night stages and some effects might remind you of DriveClub.
WRC 5 will be released in October and it will be available on all three Sony platforms: the PlayStation 4, the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation Vita will all receive this title, as well as the Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. We are hoping to see this game become better than Milestone’s tries. As soon as it’s out, we’re jumping onto it to review the game – after all, PS4Pro reviewed all four main titles (excluding Powerslide)…
