Hungary’s Biggest Gaming Festival Returns – Telekom PlayIT Show and TECHXPO Take Over the Hungexpo

This November, Budapest will once again become the capital of gaming: Telekom PlayIT Show and TECHXPO are back with four days packed with games, esports, tech, and interactive fun – and no gamer should miss it.

From November 15–16, the Telekom PlayIT Show returns as Hungary’s largest gaming event, bringing more esports action, interactive experiences, and tech showcases than ever before. Running alongside it is the four-day TECHXPO (November 13–16), so fans of gaming and technology can dive into both worlds under one roof.

This year’s lineup is stacked: epic tournaments, immersive simulators, award shows, cosplay events, and loads of gaming content are waiting for visitors.

T-Esport Championship and €100,000 Prize Pool

Back with the support of Telekom, the T-Esport Championship finals will take place live on the main stage, featuring top-tier battles in Counter-Strike 2, League of Legends, Rocket League, and Brawl Stars. The stakes? A total prize pool of over €100,000.

Saturday also brings the Red Bull Tetris National Finals, where the winner will represent Hungary at the World Finals in Dubai. Meanwhile, the PlayIT Simulator Show lets racing fans jump into cutting-edge driving simulators for an ultra-realistic racing experience.

Hungarian Game Awards, Minecraft Day & More

Sunday will host the Hungarian Game Awards, where a professional jury will crown the Best Hungarian Game and Best Game Jam project, while the audience votes for their favorite title presented at PlayIT.

Saturday is all about Minecraft Day, where diamond ticket holders can meet their favorite creators, get autographs, and explore blocky worlds together. Fans can also join the Rock-Paper-Scissors Tournament for a chance to win 150,000 HUF.

The Board Game Zone is all about social fun, giving visitors a chance to try the latest releases or revisit classic favorites. Telekom PlayIT Show is more than a gaming convention – it’s a weekend experience for hardcore gamers, casual players, and families alike.

New this year: special cosplay tickets offer discounted entry for costume-wearing fans, plus there will be surprises for Labubu enthusiasts too.
