Resident Evil: Survival Unit is a Solid Time-Saver While You Wait for Requiem

While Capcom puts the finishing touches on Resident Evil 9, this mobile strategy entry can easily tide you over: dive into Resident Evil: Survival Unit, where smart tactics rule.

In Resident Evil: Survival Unit, strategy is the key to survival. As an unknown infection spreads, the city collapses in a blink, leaving you stranded with a small band of survivors. Build a base, secure resources, and expand your influence to carve out a path forward.

Operatives with distinct skills in combat, gathering, and tech await your orders. Assign roles that fit each situation and erect defensive lines to push back the infected. Every choice can swing the battle and boost your odds. Focus on restoring an abandoned mansion facility by facility, and manage resources, defenses, and research to forge a formidable stronghold.

While scouring the map for supplies, you will meet other survivor groups. Cooperate or clash? Your decisions shape the future. Your base evolves from a mere refuge into an impregnable fortress. From building placement and deployments to loadouts, every decision affects readiness in real time. Expand and reinforce your stronghold and forge alliances to underpin survival. Expect appearances from series icons like Leon S. Kennedy, Claire Redfield, and Jill Valentine.

Developed by Aniplex and JOYCITY, the game launches November 17 on Android and iOS as a free-to-play strategy title, so it is not competing with Resident Evil: Requiem but rather filling the gap until it arrives. Depending on storefront timing, some regions will see it playable from November 18 at 00:00 local time.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
