Leslie Benzies, now head of Build a Rocket Boy, was mentioned in the Epstein files – and Sam Houser was named too.
According to shocking allegations surfaced in the latest publication of the Epstein files, Leslie Benzies, the former president of Rockstar North and founder of Build a Rocket Boy, has been accused of sexual assault. It has also been claimed that Sam Houser, the current president of Rockstar, was at least aware of the situation. The allegations come from Sarah Ransome, a recognized victim of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell’s sex trafficking ring. She was allegedly abused by the pair in 2006, and in the recently released Epstein documents she writes that “Leslie Benzie” also sexually abused her while she was dating him.
The U.S. Department of Justice recently released a 62-page document as part of the ongoing disclosure of the Epstein files. On page 38, Ransome mentions two significant names: Leslie Benzies and Sam Houser. Benzies left Rockstar North in 2016 and went on to found Build a Rocket Boy, known today in connection with MindsEye. It is important to note that the appearance of Benzies’s and Houser’s names in the document reflects Ransome’s personal view and is not presented as directly tied to Epstein or the crimes committed by him and Maxwell.
“Leslie Benzie seemed as if he had invented throwing money at a “prostitute,” then sexually assaulting her. Kids, that’s what drugs do! He used it in video games for the entertainment of millions of people. That shit had to come from somewhere. Why not the guy who helped invent Grand Theft Auto? He also visited me in New York, knew what was happening, and gave me money to book my ticket when I arrived on September 1, 2006 – check his bank records. Sam Houser, you met me many times while dating Leslie. Now, the time has come to reveal what you and your Rockstar North boys really do behind the scenes. I’m surprised there hasn’t been a class action lawsuit against you yet!”, Ransome’s allegations claim.
Ransome was compiling a “witness list” of people who could potentially support her in a lawsuit against the FBI and the U.S. government. The list included names such as Benjamin Netanyahu, Oprah Winfrey, Melinda Gates, Joe Biden, Al Gore, Donald Trump, and many others. Near the end of that list, the document contains a longer description of Ransome’s alleged relationship with Benzies, including the details above, which are presented as taken verbatim from the document.
The email in the document was written in December 2023, and the author explains its purpose in the opening paragraphs: “You are joining the long list of witnesses below that I will be adding to my personal witness list, seeing as I am one of the lead plaintiffs in the current claim filed against the FBI and US government, for which we are still awaiting a response!”
The allegations have stirred social media, with many players expressing concern about the claims. As of now, nobody involved has publicly responded. The situation could have broader implications for Rockstar North at a time when the company is already under scrutiny due to recent anti-union actions and overtime-related issues.
