There is no AAA title with day-1 patches – there is pretty much no exception to the rule. So Ubisoft‘s Assassin’s Creed Syndicate got them. Plural, because the game received two patches. Thankfully, you don’t have to download multiple gigabytes, only (?) 1 gigabyte of data.
The two patches are the 1.10 and the 1.11 ones. The former one is 541 megabytes, while the latter one weighs 538, respectively. It’s not as dangerous as say, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5, although that game is likely to become the worst game of this year. But even in comparison with other big titles, Halo 5: Guardians will get a 9 gigabyte day-1 update, so at least the French company got this right this time around. (And they even managed to hide a World War I minigame within Syndicate, which is a surprising move on their end!)
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is only available on current-gen consoles and PC, so you have to upgrade (or get an okay PC) to play this game, or the future installments.
