MOVIE NEWS – Nicole Kidman was only 22 when she met Tom Cruise, who was already one of Hollywood’s most powerful and recognizable stars. Their relationship quickly led to marriage, and people around Kidman were already wondering whether she would ever be able to establish a career entirely separate from her famous husband.
Kidman met Cruise in 1989 while they were filming Days of Thunder, and the connection between the two actors developed almost immediately. At the time, Kidman was still at the beginning of her international career: she had already attracted considerable attention in Australia, but she was only starting to become a recognizable name in Hollywood.
