Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance’s Daily Boosted Action Overviews Have Begun [VIDEO]

Capcom will release updates for the previously announced DLC for Monster Hunter Wilds, albeit in an unusual manner. At least they will be released regularly.

The company has released a new video for the major DLC titled Ascendance. The video showcases the Boost Bracer, which adds new Boosted Actions to all 14 weapon types. It also features another trailer demonstrating the Boosted Actions for the Great Sword.

“Ascend to Master Rank with the Boost Bracer, a new hunting action that expands the abilities of each of the 14 weapon types in Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance. Build Boost Bracer energy by attacking aggressively, then activate Boost with a special Boost Driver attack or other unique action per weapon. Boost enables abilities such as new combos and enhanced attacks, allowing you to take on the formidable foes that await you,” said Capcom.

The Great Sword’s Boosted Actions include a forward leap with the Boost Driver that delivers explosive charged strikes and off-balance attacks. Videos showcasing the boosted actions for the remaining 13 weapons will be released daily. We’re only reporting on the first one here, but there will be no shortage of content to cover later on. After all, three major titles will be released weekly throughout the month, thanks to Grand Theft Auto VI. (Thanks to the Rockstar and Take-Two game, the first three to four months of 2027 are already extremely packed.) No Rest for the Wicked has joined the mix. We reported on its delay just the other day.

Monster Hunter Wilds is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. Capcom is planning a Nintendo Switch 2 port, but it hasn’t been released yet. Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance is set to arrive sometime in 2027. By then, it will likely be released simultaneously on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
