Once upon a time, there was a game called Duke Nukem: Mass Destruction. Was? Was; Gearbox gently warned 3D Realms and Interceptor Entertainment that they did not have any rights to Duke Nukem – they managed to settle this argument between the three parties outside the court, though. This meant that the game had to be redesigned, and thus, Bombshell was born, which was shown on E3 2015.
Bombshell is an isometric-view, Unreal Engine-using action-RPG, and despite it having been playable at QuakeCon 2015, we can forget about its originally planned 2015 release. The current release date, which might very likely be the final one, is January 29, 2016, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. This delay is most likely happening because of putting the final touches on Bombshell. It will cost 35 dollars.
There’s also going to be a digital deluxe edition of the game, which will give you these goodies in digital format: soundtrack, artbook, maps and the FPS Prequel game. It’s priced at 40 dollars.
