Let your voice be heard: What PS2 game should be emulated on PS4?

Sony already confirmed that they are indeed working to bring PlayStation 2emulation. They had to do so because the Star Wars Battlefront PS4 bundles had codes to download certain bonus games, which were originally PS2 titles… and lo and behold, they suddenly ended up as playable on the current-gen console. Now, Sony‘s XDEV (External Development Studio Europe) asked a question on Twitter: What PS2 games would you like to see on your PS4?

This got a ton of responses, including Evolution Studios’ Paul Rustchynsky, who’d like to see WRC: Rally Evolved. This was Evolution’s last PS2 WRC game before they moved on to work on Motorstorm for the PS3. Another popular title in the run is SOCOM 2, which is still a very highly regarded PlayStation 2-game, especially for its very well done multiplayer segment.

We think that all games of previous consoles should be supported right from the start for new generations, but nothing can be perfect.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
