The Trine games’ story is interesting on the PS4: first, 2 launched, which was then followed by the first game’s enhanced version on the PlayStation 4. The ratio will now jump to three out of three as the side-scrolling platformer’s latest installment is also going to be available on Sony‘s current-gen console.
Frozenbyte‘s game was improved in several ways compared to the previous games, though: first, it became three-dimensional, while keeping the cooperative (maximum three players, due to three playable characters: Pontius the Knight, Zoya the Thief and Amadeus the Wizard) gameplay and the platformer genre. Seven chapters, 11 extra puzzles under the flag of Lost Pages, 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second. The game will also support 3D audio, so we can listen to Ari Pulkkinen’s brilliant soundtrack in an even higher quality.
Trine 3 is expected to launch in the upcoming two weeks, as it should be out before Christmas. Better take a look at the PlayStation Store each day to see if it’s out!
