PlayStation VR might get a new rival [VIDEO]

Oculus Rift, HTC Vive – anyone else? Not only these two headsets might be able to put up a fight against the PlayStation VR as another entry showed up. This new VR project was presented to the public at the TED (Technology, Entertainment And Design) conference.

This virtual reality park, called The Void, will be able to provide a digital alternative of shopping centres and cinemas. Its first park is going to launch in the autumn in Utah in the United States. The founder, Curtis Hickman wants to open virtual reality parks all around the world.

The Void doesn’t limit us to a small place like the VR headsets as it makes us walk around. Of course, it’s not perfect yet, and there are kinks to fix, but everything has to start out somewhere.

Is Hickman already a step ahead of the PSVR and co.?

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
