Current-gen ports are getting tiresome. Most of them can’t show that much extra as expected from them despite changing generations. For example, the framerate isn’t as stable (or high enough) as we expected them to do so. Will this be the case with Resident Evil 6 too?
Capcom decided to pull an all-in for Resident Evil 6. 6 will be the first of 4, 5, and 6 to launch on PS4/X1 (in fact, it will be out by Tuesday already). The framerate and resolution are promising: 1080p/60fps. It will look similar to the PC version, which, in turn, was better than the PS3/X360 graphics back in 2012. The re-released Resident Evil 6 will not only tick the boxes of „including all DLC-s,” but it will also come with the formerly PC-exclusive Mercenaries: No Mercy mode. That is a great addition.
At least, Resident Evil 6 doesn’t have as many versions as Resident Evil 4, which is absolutely ridiculous. RE5 will arrive during the summer, followed by the autumn release of RE4 on the PS4 and the X1.
