Sony is teasing us to no avail. How many times have we written about the marsupial – who turns twenty this year – showing up around Sony-related pages and events? (Not to mention the times when we didn’t write about it!)
While the world is rolling around on the ground in happiness about Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End (which is another Naughty Dog game, as well as the first three Crash Bandicoot installments, plus CTR), a lot of people are rather interested about Crash Bandicoot. Someone asked Adam Boyes, the VP of Publisher and Developer PR at PlayStation, about Crash. His answer was this: „as I’ve said before Activision owns the rights to Crash Bandicoot.”
However, Activision isn’t doing anything Crash-related! They just have the license and do nothing with it – this makes no sense. They should just sell the license to Sony to profit off of it, so the Japanese can finally revive the marsupial. We have seen an Unreal Engine 4–remake by a fan already, mind you…
@tulupowdan yes, as I’ve said before Activision owns the rights to Crash Bandicoot
