Sony San Diego, who has been mostly working on the MLB baseball games for a long time, is now about to launch a shooter game.
Kill Strain‘s announcement happened at the 2014 PlayStation Experience. This PS4-exclusive game promised something basic: „mercs vs. mercs vs. mutants”. We now know when the free-to-play title, that Sony doesn’t want to turn into a pay-to-win, launches: July 19. If you have an active PlayStation Plus subscription, you will receive a one-week advantage, and get to play from July 12. There will also be a Limited Access beta from June 29 to July 3 as well.
In Kill Strain, two teams of mercs (with four players each), and a team of mutants (1, or 2 players) can fight each other. It’s up to the players if they have a temporary cease-fire to get rid of the mutants, or just play a free-for-all. However, mutants can infect the players to throw another twist into the gameplay.
After MLB, seeing Kill Strain from SIE San Diego is a pleasure! If you read the article all the way to the end, you get a reward. Use the following code to access the beta we mentioned previously: R5JH-QHNR-PA2G
