Every little (information) helps…
Last weekend, we already had a ton of information to sift through via a Foxconn-employee leaking some details about the new Nintendo console. However, UK retailer and grocery chain Tesco stepped up to the plate with a possible release window and price.
NintendoLife writes about how they listed the Nintendo NX before it got taken down. There was no picture of the console (plus Tesco also wrote NX WII U…), but that’s not the point. They listed the NX with a 2016 release, and it would cost 350 British pounds. As there was a good partnership between the big N and Tesco with the Wii U, this information might be legit. Let’s stop here for a moment, though.
When the base PlayStation 4 launched almost three years ago, it too cost 349 pounds, and the PS4 Pro will cost the same, not to mention the upcoming PlayStation VR! Going by the pricing, the NX might cost 400 dollars/euros elsewhere. Is there more pressure on Microsoft’s Xbox Project Scorpio?
