Larian put together a huge limited version for its game.
The developers have confirmed the final playable race in the new Divinity RPG will be the Undead. This character heals with poison (regular potions hurt them!), can open locks with just fingers, and they get unique skills over those who were formerly of another race (Human, Dwarf, Lizard, Elf). They can cover themselves with helmets, clothing, or with the Mask of the Shapeshifter – with these, NPCs will not run away, and the player can utilize the advantage of another race (for example, a dwarf mask can provide a discount at a dwarf merchant). However, to obtain a mask, other characters’ faces have to be ripped off, which is nothing but noticeable…
On the game’s website, you can already buy the Collector’s Edition of Divinity: Original Sin 2. For 169 dollars + shipping, you can get a 10.2″ Fane statue (he’s an Undead, too) with an interchangeable Shapeshifter mask and skull, a 160-page artwork book, a 120-page lore book, a game manual, a map, and a manual, all in a box. Only 1000 are being made!
Divinity: Original Sin 2 will launch on September 14 on PC, followed by the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One ports at a later date.
