Sony expands its PlayStation Now lineup.
On the PlayStation Blog, an announcement can be found that says the service, which now has over 600 titles for us to stream, is now including PlayStation 2 games. They are the following: Ape Escape 2, Dark Cloud 2, Hot Shots Tennis, and Siren, which is called Forbidden Siren in Europe. (We also quickly mention the PlayStation 4 additions, which push the line-up of the monthly subscription service to close to 650 games: The Last Blast 2, Limbo, Metal Slug 3, Sine Mora EX, and Chronicle: One Way Heroics; also, the PS3 version of BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend was upgraded to the PS4 one.)
So, the service started to include PS2 titles, which is understandable (and it could be great if it starts to get some classics of that generation), but why not go for direct backward compatibility? (The Xbox One started to include regular Xbox games in its offer…)
