BlizzCon 2018 is just around the corner, so it was about time Blizzard responded to the rumours regarding Diablo.
They wrote a post on Diablo 3’s blog, where they tried to set things straight: „BlizzCon 2018 is almost here, and we’ve seen a lot of rumours flying around about our plans for Diablo at the show. We currently have multiple teams working on different Diablo projects, and we can’t wait to tell you all about them . . . when the time is right. Good things come to those who wait,’ but evil things often take longer.’”
So Blizzard is working on multiple things at once – one of them is likely the fourth main Diablo game, but we wouldn’t rule out a remake of the first title either. They said something similar in August, but one of their plans turned out to be a Nintendo Switch port of Diablo III. However, Blizzard still uses plural…
So let’s be patient and see what they end up saying in early November at BlizzCon. They might be tricking us to announce a new game at the end to catch us off guard…
