„Dead or Alive 6: Core Fighters offers fighting game fans a limited look into the world of Dead or Alive 6, including four base characters—Kasumi, Hitomi, Diego, and Bass—as well as online ranked battles, Versus, Arcade, Time Attack, Training, and Quest modes. In addition, Dead or Alive 6’s introduction to Story mode will be unlocked, along with DOA Central, the hub for everything from wardrobe and music to the library and theatre,” the official description says.

Dead or Alive 6: Core Fighters are already available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. We have taken a look at the base game ourselves, and it’s not bad, but the costumes require a lot of grinding (and the Season Pass’ pricing is… interesting, too).

If you don’t like the costumes but are interested in Dead or Alive 6’s gameplay (which itself is decent!), we can recommend the Core Fighters version to you. It doesn’t cost you a penny after all…
