Remedy recently held a very detailed Q&A detailing the PC version’s machine requirements and what the different console generations can deliver in terms of graphics. There will also be a first-day patch to improve the game’s playback, among other things, and those who buy the game for last-gen consoles, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, will be able to upgrade to the next-gen versions for free. The Xbox versions will also support Smart Delivery.
Alan Wake Remastered will support an Ultra-wide screen (21:9), but rendered cutscenes will still be in a 16:9 aspect ratio. The game will also get NVIDIA DLSS support, and FOV Slider and NVIDIA Ambient Occlusion technology will be available. The game does not support ray-tracing.
