MOVIE NEWS – The movie Killers of the Flower Moon stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro and tells the story of the Osage Indian murders in the 1920s.
Martin Scorsese’s new movie, Killers of the Flower Moon, is a western crime drama based on the best-selling book by David Grann. The movie shows the Osage Indian murders that happened in the early 20th century, when oil was found on their land in Oklahoma. The young J. Edgar Hoover and a former Texas ranger, Tom White, investigated the mysterious cases.
The movie’s length is not finalized yet, but The Movie Database website says it will be 3 hours and 54 minutes for the theatrical version. The director of the Cannes Film Festival, Thierry Fremaux, said that the movie will be five minutes longer than Once Upon a Time in America (4 hours and 11 minutes), which means that the extended version of the movie could be up to 4 hours and 16 minutes.
The movie will have its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2023, and then it will be released in theaters in the United States in October. The movie will also be available on Apple TV+.
