Uncharted 4 is still one of the most awaited PlayStation 4-exclusive titles, despite the fact that the release date was pushed all the way back to the spring of 2016. Perhaps there is a good reason to do so, remember, how Naughty Dog‘s game ran on the E3 presentations. Of course, there is going to be a PS4 trilogy released from the PS3 originals without multiplayers, but let’s focus on 4 instead with these techdemo videos.
Don’t expect some serious gameplay here, but the footage below absolutely qualifies for „behind the scenes” videos…
In the first video, Nathan Drake runs around in foliage, showing off the technology of the environment in the process. We believe Naughty Dog has done a spot-on job with this.
The second video is focusing on the water and the reflections coming off of that. (Forget the framerate locked to thirty frames per second, because that is not the point now.)
The third, final video shows off some developer tools and the things the Naughty Dog team can create with them. This is a quite long, 18-minute long video, with some humorous creations being brought to life. You can see how a character – who can receive a huge, deformed head, if needed – can be moved, for example…
