OpenAI’s New Free Service: Exciting but with Significant Limitations [VIDEO]

TECH NEWS – The company known for ChatGPT has released an AI-based service that was previously behind a paywall, as OpenAI has changed its availability.

OpenAI continues to develop its AI toolkit, adding more and more new features. These are generally available first to paying users, or ChatGPT Plus subscribers, who have no major restrictions. However, this is about to change as not only paying users will have access to the Dall-E 3 image generator, but also free users will be able to try out the imaging technology.

Dall-E 3 is an artificial intelligence model that generates images from text definitions. This model was released last September and has surpassed its predecessor in many ways. Images are more detailed, have higher resolution and can interpret queries more accurately. It is one of the best image generators, but until now only ChatGPT Plus users had access to it…

OpenAI has announced on Twitter how they are expanding the availability of free images to users, who can generate two images per day for free. All we have to do is ask ChatGPT to generate an image. If we provide a sufficiently precise definition, it will be done quickly, in less than half a minute. In fact, two images a day can be very limiting, but once you try it, it will do the trick and can even be a good starting point for your own creativity.

With GPT-4o, OpenAI has made significant changes for free users, as they now have access to several features that were previously only available for a fee, including image analysis and code writing. The latest ChatGPT model is also available, which is said to be the most powerful yet, and it’s really only the daily limit that might make you reach for your wallet.

OpenAI’s move can be seen as a positive one. It is a way for the company to ensure that more people will use its AI-based technology more often.
