Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise director and screenwriter Hidetaka Suehiro, better known in the industry as Swery65, has apologized on Twitter for portraying a transgender character in the video game, in which several characters, including the protagonist they refer to him by his old name, a practice known as 'deadnaming', and there is also a confusing use of pronouns. Besides, he has assured that he will rewrite said scene as soon as possible.

So Aliens: Dark Descent will be released sometime during 2023, but we don't have an exact release date beyond that. The Nintendo Switch has been left out for some reason, but beyond that, it's a cross-gen title, so that it will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC (Steam), PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. You could even say it's Alien XCOM, and Firaxis might be saying that the franchise isn't dead for a reason... it should make a comeback, right?
