Increasingly more new PlayStation 4 games supports 1080p and 60 frames per second, and the latest game which is reaching this same result is Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer 2015.
Konami confirmed that PES 2015 on the PlayStation 4 will run at full HD (1080p) and at 60 fps. However, the publisher could not assure that the Xbox One version will run at the same resolution and frame rate — what a surprise! Or not.
Up to now, the PlayStation 4 has had a clear advantage when it comes to games that are maxed out at 1080p/60fps. The Xbox One versions of the very same games have either lower resolution or lower framerate.
PES 2015 is using the Fox Engine — the identical to the one that powers the new Metal Gear Solid games, which also run at 1080p and 60 frames per second on the PS4, while the Xbox One versions are scaled down.
Konami recently revealed the latest entry in their long-running Pro Evolution Soccer series, which has been a long-time rival to EA’s FIFA series. PES 2015 launches this Fall and Winter on the PlayStation 4 and other platforms.

ROFL, I cannot believe Microsoft is so lame with Xbox One! Is 1080p SO hard to achieve?
