The DualShock 4 is a very good controller for the majority of the PlayStation 4 gamers, but some of them – typically the hardcore players – are not totally satisfied with it. They want something more professional, something that offers a kind of an advantage over the regular controller.
This is especially useful for professional gamers to whom where every millisecond counts. That’s why the third party accessory maker SCUF made their new SCUF 4PS competitive PlayStation 4 controllers.
The SCUF 4PS provides a surplus of buttons that players can assign different functions to. They can be assigned as any other buttons on the controller, which can come in handy. The controller also supports full remapping of the other buttons, in case you don’t like the game developers’ default button layout.
There’s a new add-on for the controller called the “Control Disc”, which is added to the D-pad for additional precision. The controller can be used with or without the control disc.
You can check out a video introduction of the SCUF 4PS PlayStation 4 controller above, and some pics below. The controller will be available later this year. No price has been announced yet.
