Another game which once again runs at 900p on Xbox One. Lords of the Fallen, the upcoming action-RPG will be available at a resolution full 1080p on the PlayStation 4 while the Xbox One will once again be limited to just 900p. We’ve seen this happening too many times before, where the PS4 version of a multiplatform game is the superior in resolution.
Lords of the Fallen will be released next month, and it’s just one more game which proves that the PlayStation 4 has a more advanced hardware concerning graphics. We’ve already heard from CI Games, the developer of Lords of the Fallen that 1080p is easier to achieve on the PlayStation 4, so we’re not surprised the final product sports full HD resolution on Sony’s console.
We’ve seen many games since last year to support full HD on the PS4, while the Xbox One version they had to be scaled down in resolution to 900p in order to maintain the same image quality. Battlefield 4 runs at a higher resolution on the PS4, and so does Thief, and so does Trials Fusion, and many others.
Lords of the Fallen will be released on the PS4, PC, and Xbox One (in 900p) on October 28.
