Not surprising. Sony is pretty much putting all eggs in the PlayStation basket while the company reforms and sells off the arms which lose money in general. In the last quarter of 2014, Sony had a big amount of money generated – no less than 4.35 billion dollars, and in this timeframe, 6.4 million PlayStation 4s were sold.
Now remember that Sony announced crossing the 20 million line in March… and 1/3 of it was sold in this time! However, the PS Vita
still drags down the success with the handheld losing money. 235 million dollars of operation income came through, which is not bad, but it can be even better.
