Guitar Hero Live announced

Activision seems to fill the market up yet again, risking the genre getting burnt out quickly for the second time, but they seem to be serious: Guitar Hero Live was announced.

We can expect two game modes. In the first one, the we will take the role of the guitarist of the band and we have to carefully monitor the crowd’s reactions to our performance (hence the name Live), and in the second one, we can choose from a wide variety of songs to play against our friends.

There will be no backwards compatibility, so we will be forced to buy a new guitar, which will have 2 x 3 buttons – beginners can play with three if they want. No music compatibility either. The game and the guitar costs respectively 99 dollars and they are likely to be out October 20…
