Would this be Platinum Games" new title?

We expected several things from Platinum Games – aside from being blocked by Hideki Kamiya on Twitter -, like Vanquish 2, but they managed to surprise most likely everyone. They are working on a new Transformers game! Transformers Devastation will have cel-shaded graphics, and since there’s going to be a huge focus on combat, we can expect PG to have a fluid battle system implemented into Devastation. The voice actors will be the same as in the movies.

Activision will be the publisher and the game will be out on both the PS4 and PS3. Official announcement on Monday. But why aren’t PG working on Vanquish 2?
