PS4 to got rid off some weight

Sony will launch the new model, the CUH-1200 series by the end of June in Japan. It won’t really get a visual overhaul, but lifting this one up will feel differently in the end.

The new PlayStation 4 model will shed 10 percent of its total weight, and the HDD bay’s cover will also be matte instead of the black colour we got used to. There’s also going to be an improvement in the power consumption: it will require 8% less energy to use this PS4. The price however, will still stay at 399 dollars/euros. We don’t understand the decision behind mattening the HDD bay cover, but we gotta accept it.
