Rocket League – about which you can read a review soon on our website – is one of the most surprising games of this year so far. Although it’s admittedly not having a perfect launch on the PlayStation 4, there is going to be a patch coming soon to address most issues.
Admittedly, not even Sony and Psyonix expected the game to be a huge, arousing success, but – mainly because of being free for PS Plus subscribers -, the servers are almost always filled with players.
The patch tries to give the chance for players to actually connect to the servers, because there has been issues about this.
There’s also an aim to fix the legimitately terrible translations. But the most important thing is that the game made the PS4 use the fans a lot, resulting in a lot of noise, or, in worse cases, shutting the console down to overheat! This is quite a serious problem, if your game can knock your console out, isn’t it?
By the way, Rocket League is a football game. With cars. Really. We’d not write more about it here, because we’ve gone back to play more.
