I’m a slice of bread. That’s what Bossa Studios thought about when they made I Am Bread, giving this game a somewhat serious physics engine, while keepng the game reasonably enjoyable, despite it sounding weird. The game has been out for a while on PC, but now, the PlayStation 4 release date was confirmed, as the June PlayStation 4 announcement didn’t have a concrete release date for I Am Bread back then.
It’s only going to be available digitally via the PlayStation 4 from August 25, in which our target is to make a slice of bread a tasty treat while controlling it. It’s typically that kind of game that cannot be taken seriously, as itself is making fun of it here and there. We can see in the release date announcement trailer that the bread is playing with the analogue sticks of the DualShock 4 (or honestly, what exactly IS the slice of bread doing with it…?), while some interesting background music is going on.
However, it’s going to be released just alongside with Until Dawn, continuing the disliked trend of sharing a release date with other titles.
