Assassin’s Creed Syndicate: Is it a good reason to preorder? [VIDEO]

Preorder the game to receive extras – this is the notion pushed by almost every single AAA title, and some of these even have exclusive bonuses per game shop chains: Gamestop might give X, Best Buy could give Y and so on. Ubisoft now announced the preorder incentive for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, which is going to be released on October 23 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (and no previous gen Assassin’s Creed game this year!).

Do you know Charles Dickens and Charles Darwin? Probably you do: the former one is a known English writer and the latter one is a naturalist and geologist known for his evolution theory. The British gentlemen will be available as preordering bonuses, the game will have exclusive missions featuring them. In our opinion, this is a somewhat ridiculous move to promote the game with known personalities. Sure, the game is playing in the middle of the 19th century in London, but this preordering bonus is a bit over the line.
Here’s the trailer introducing them.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
