Destiny is still being pushed by Bungie and Activision a year after the initial release: now, this MMOFPS is having a big expansion coming towards it, and it’s even going to be available in a form of a PlayStation 4 bundle as well from next Tuesday. Destiny Taken King, which we already knew about way before its official announcement (thanks to Red Bull’s premature marketing campaign), will push even more content into the game than the previous two expansions did together, also performing a nerfing on several weapons too.
The cinematic trailer (using in-game scenes) will present us the story in short, as well as setting up Oryx, the bad guy of this expansion. We wouldn’t be surprised if the game somehow gets a CGI movie later on, building upon Destiny’s story in general… Destiny Taken King will be available in retail format (including everything released for this game up to now) from September 15 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360, but most of the things will sneak in in a form of a patch today, pushing the version number of Destiny up to 2.0.
Also, Bungie’s documentation has unveiled that the game will receive major additional content every two years and Destiny will be supported until 2020. Brave move.
