Will Assassin’s Creed Syndicate have a Unity-like launch?

Last year, Ubisoft have put out Assassin’s Creed Unity in a terrible state. The unpatched, retail version was effectively full of bugs, and after several patches, it managed to get on foot normally, but the way it got to the stores disappointed the early buyers. History might repeat itself, because Syndicate – which is going to hit the stores in less than a month – has similar problems…

Videogamer got a preview copy of the game, and according to them, even the menu layout reminded them of a repainted Unity in their PS4. The resolution doesn’t seem like 1080p (Ubisoft said nothing about the resolution), they think the game ran on 900p. On top of that, there’s noticable input lag too. (We’re already wondering if it’s even possible to fix this issue this close to launch day!)

So, although Assassin’s Creed Syndicate might be having a different approach to missions and content, there is a significant similarity to Unity, but still, what divides 2015’s game from last year’s is how different Jacob and Evie is played. But if the game comes out as a bug infested title, it’d be a disappointment…
