We were wrong, and so, the rumours were proven to be false: previously, there were rumours about silently releasing No Man’s Sky during Paris Game Week. (Well, something else, namely the standalone DriveClub Bikes expansion was released, so it was half right…) However, PGW had brought us an announcement for the actual launch window for Hello Games‘ game. It’s a somewhat disappointing move.
We really don’t see the point in why showing the game off in Stephen Colbert’s talkshow this early, if No Man’s Sky will launch in June 2016! Hype? Maybe. But then, use this time wisely – going by the things we have seen in this trailer called I’ve Seen Things, Hello Games is on the right path to succeed next summer. We’re worried about overhyping this game though, which will faceplant upon launch…
Let’s just hope Hello Games will prove us wrong, because discovering the universe still looks promising. Eventually we could say that the world is now ours…
