[PGW 2015] RIGS: Mechanized Combat League – Gone to Dubai [VIDEO]

PlayStation VR has taken a significant part in Sony‘s Paris Game Week presentation. Several games were shown off and/or announced, like Until Dawn: Rush of Blood. RIGS: Mechanized Combat League is in development at Guerrilla Cambridge, and genre-wise, it is going to be a VR shooter, in which we can get to control these mechas – these are called RIGS – in order to shoot the others out of the ring…

…or more like stage. In the PGW trailer, the Dubai map was used. Gentlemen, welcome to Dubai: in comparison to the Rio map shown off at E3, this is much bigger, and it also has a symmetric layout. Perfectly shows the lifestyle as well, especially if you consider that the stage is on its separate island… We can expect more levels, but they aren’t shown yet.

The game has an intriguing concept: after all, it’s a virtual reality shooter with mechas – it’s already sounding interesting on paper, and we haven’t even played this game yet! No idea on the release date yet, but our guess would be that it is going to become a PlayStation VR launch title…
