Sharefactory has become a very popular software for PlayStation 4-owners because it allows them to edit and pimp up their recorded gameplay clips, followed by sharing them online – you can see Sharefactory uploads on YouTube quite often! Sony listened to the players, and they gave several new functions for the program, which is now updated to version 1.07.
One of the new additions is the Time Bender: you can manipulate the time of your clips with this, making either time lapse videos or slow motion. The developers and publishers will also make use of Sharefactory with their events (the first one is currently under planning): if you make a video completing certain requirements, you might end up in the spotlight. We’ll see more details about this soon. The projects’ maximum clip limit was raised to 50, and the maximum music clips’ limit was also raised to 12.
New transitions, effects, songs and overlays were also added to Sharefactory, which has over 5.1 million downloads and more than 18.9 million videos were created with it. Of course, more serious editing can’t be made with it, but it’s still a good starting point.
