Bethesda opens a new studio in Canada

Bethesda Softworks is expanding: they have opened a new studio in Montreal, Canada. This team is going to help in the development of PC, console and also mobile games in the future. This was announced by Bethesda‘s executive producer Todd Howard. He says that there were several talented developers in Montreal that Bethesda have worked with so far, so they thought it’s a good idea to open finally a studio in Montreal.

This new studio will be headed by Yves Lachance, who recently worked with Behavior Interactive – this team was responsible for the iOS/Android game Fallout Shelter. His team is currently consisting of forty people, although they are still expanding. If you are brave enough, you can apply for a job there on the following link.

Lachance previously worked on Wolfenstein: The New Order, Mercenaries 2: World in Flames, Dante’s Inferno and The Lord of the Rings: Conquest, so we can’t say that he lacks talent. Good luck for the new team!

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
