System Shock 3: Officially announced, may come to the PS4

Boston-based Otherside Entertainment’s teasing is now over: the countdown ended, and they announced their work on System Shock 3. It’s official now! You can see that SHODAN is going to take a role in this upcoming game on this site, and there’s also a voice clip, too: „Did you think I’d forgotten you, insect?” Let’s clear something up, though: while Night Dive Studios has all licenses to System Shock, they’re working on the first game’s remake at the moment, and there’s no legal issue with Otherside working on a new installment.

We don’t know about what platforms the game will launch on in the future, but! There’s a survey about this game here, which asks about whether we played the second game or not, our age, or preferred gaming platform (PS4, XB1, PC, Mac, other), and our interest in virtual reality on a 1-10 scale.

That means there’s potential to develop System Shock 3 for the PlayStation 4 with PlayStation VR-support as well. We’re hoping the best for this game. Already SHODAN‘s presence raised our pulses…
