CES 2016 will be held between January 6 and 9 in Las Vegas this year. There is an enormous potential for virtual reality gaming to step up to the plate: not only the PlayStation VR (formerly known as Project Morpheus) but also the Oculus Rift is very likely to be seen at this event. The former’s situation is interesting: we don’t know this virtual reality headset’s final pricing and launch date.
Sony announced their press conference’s date: it’s going to happen on January 5 at 5 PM Pacific Time – it’ll end at 5:45 PM. This would be the perfect time for Sony to reveal the release date and the price as well. If the Oculus Rift is also presented, they will be able to pull the attention away from the rivals. It’d make perfect sense, but we’ll see what Sony does.
We only know one thing about the PlayStation VR‘s pricing: it’s going to cost us the price of a new gaming console – maybe Sony is going to provide us more details so we can save up some cash for the headset.
